Founded in 2015, DG Petro Oil & Gas, LLC is a privately held, forward-thinking oil and natural gas Exploration and Production (E&P) company based in Allen, Texas, with field offices in Midland and Pecos. We specialize in the strategic acquisition, optimization, and development of oil and gas assets, with a strong focus on the Permian Basin.
Our team has a proven track record in sourcing, evaluating, and executing numerous deals, bringing extensive expertise in managing assets across both conventional and unconventional plays. We excel in all stages of a company’s lifecycle, including drilling, completions, production, geology, land management, regulatory compliance, acquisitions, and divestitures.

DG Petro Oil & Gas’ first joint venture and the start of a long and successful business relationship with Juniper Capital. Based in Lea County, NM, near the town of Lovington. Targeting horizontal Wolfcamp D formation in the Delaware Basin.

1920’s assets are in the Western Delaware Basin and straddle the county line of Reeves and Culberson Counties, TX. Targeting multiple zones horizontally in the Wolfcamp Basin.

Located in Pecos County, TX, targeting the Wolfcamp Formation and legacy vertical producing areas in the southeast Delaware Basin. DG Petro Oil & Gas took over management of Pecos River Exploration in 2023 and has since significantly improved the asset’s value and production.

DG Petro Oil & Gas’ most recently acquired asset, located in Northern Martin County, TX. Targeting multiple bench horizontals and legacy oilfields in Midland Basin.

Mark Swadener
Chief Executive Officer
Mark Swadener is a seasoned executive with a wealth of experience spanning over two decades in management, operations, and engineering across various basins in the United States. His expertise is particularly notable in the Permian Basin, where he has garnered extensive knowledge while working with a diverse range of operators, from large corporations to smaller, privately held firms.
In his role as CEO, Mark is dedicated to realizing a mission centered on value-driven execution, aiming to maximize returns while positively impacting the lives of stakeholders through the establishment of exceptional standards. This vision underscores his commitment to excellence and his aspiration to create lasting value within the industry.
Educationally, Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, a testament to his strong foundation in technical expertise. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is a devoted husband and father to three children actively engaged in sports and school activities, reflecting his commitment to both his family and his community.
Outside of his professional and familial responsibilities, Mark prioritizes personal development, pursuing avenues for continuous growth through activities such as reading and weightlifting. This dedication to self-improvement underscores his holistic approach to leadership and life, embodying the qualities of a well-rounded individual dedicated to excellence in all aspects of his endeavors.

Chris Pomeroy
Chief Financial Officer
Chris has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Texas A&M University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Chris is deeply passionate about building and optimizing companies to produce efficient energy resources. A man of faith, he is married and has three children, with whom he enjoys spending time and coaching in baseball and softball.
With his vast experience in managing finance and accounting teams, including seven years as a CFO for multiple operating companies, Chris is dedicated to his work and known for his attention to detail. He strives to ensure a lasting legacy for future generations by contributing his knowledge and expertise to various projects. Chris is a valuable asset to any team of which he is a part and is highly regarded in the industry for his exceptional work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Craig Hons
Chief Operating Officer
With almost 20 years of experience, Craig’s expertise lies in oil and gas operations, drilling, completions, workovers, production, facilities, and infrastructure, focusing on full asset management, optimization, and value creation, particularly in undervalued and mismanaged resources. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and he has worked in various environments from aerospace and defense to corporate management and consulting. Throughout his career, Craig has continuously sought out higher-impact roles with an entrepreneurial spirit and drive, working with both large and small companies.
Craig has a proven track record of success, including the remarkable turnaround of several assets and the development of immense value where little had previously existed. He is an achiever and always strives to stand out as a top performer in everything he does. Craig is known for thinking outside the box and living with integrity in all his endeavors. He is dedicated to treating people with respect and driving efficiency in everything he is involved in, from everyday tasks to managing multimillion-dollar assets.

Michael Rumon
Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer of DG Petro, Michael Rumon leads the company’s technical functions, focusing on asset management, development, and operational improvements. With over 15 years of experience in the Permian Basin, he has extensive expertise in the Wolfcamp, Bone Spring, and Spraberry formations across the Delaware and Midland Basins.
Prior to DG Petro, Michael served as Senior Technical Officer at Revenir Energy, where he played a key role in technical evaluations that supported strategic divestments exceeding $1 billion. Before that, he held leadership positions at Centennial Resource Development as both Exploitation Manager and Company Planning Manager, working closely with land and operations teams to optimize development planning and maximize asset value. His early career included technical roles at Resolute Energy and Encana, where he gained experience in unconventional development across the Rockies and Permian Basin.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Geophysical Engineering and a Master of Science in Geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines. A native of Golden, Colorado, he enjoys snowboarding, running, and spending time with his wife and three children.

Brandon Finks
Vice President of Strategy
Brandon is driven by a strong passion for cultivating growth in demanding environments with substantial risk. This passion has led him to hone his expertise in corporate strategy, development, and negotiations, as demonstrated by his proficiency in, among other areas, contract management, asset acquisition, market analysis, and risk mitigation. He continuously seeks to develop innovative strategies to optimize asset value and foster robust growth.
Outside of his professional commitments, Brandon spends his time with family and serves as a devoted husband and father to three children. He has deep roots in Fort Worth, Texas, where he was born, raised, and currently resides.

Isaac Reese
Vice President, Engineering
Isaac’s professional experience includes roles as a System Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories and significant tenure as a Drilling Engineer for major companies, such as ConocoPhillips and Devon Energy, as well as various Juniper Capital portfolio companies. His expertise in drilling, completion, and production engineering, along with his experience in oil well design, planning, and rig management, demonstrates his comprehensive understanding of the oil and gas sector.
Having drilled hundreds of horizontal wells throughout Oklahoma and Texas, Isaac has practical knowledge with hands-on experience in the field, making him an invaluable contributor to DG Petro Oil & Gas as its VP of Engineering.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Isaac values family and friends. He enjoys spending quality time engaging in outdoor activities with his wife and three children, highlighting his balanced approach to life outside of work.

Taylor L. Thoreson
Vice President of Land & Business Development
As Vice President of Land and Business Development at DG Petro, Taylor L. Thoreson oversees acquisitions, divestitures, trades, leasing programs, and joint ventures. With over a decade of experience across public and private sectors, she has executed transactions exceeding $2 billion and managed both operated and non-operated assets across the Permian Basin, Rockies, Haynesville, MidCon, and other key U.S. basins.
Prior to DG Petro, Taylor was Vice President of Land and Business Development at Revenir Energy (formerly Legacy Reserves), where she played a key role in transitioning the company from a geographically dispersed, low-margin producer to an unconventional-focused operator with a decade of high-quality horizontal inventory in the Midland and Delaware Basins, as well as the East Texas Haynesville. This transition culminated in the divestiture of Revenir’s assets for more than $1.2 billion.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Ovintiv (formerly Encana) and Permian Resources (formerly Centennial Resource Development), where she was instrumental in expanding and consolidating both companies’ portfolios. At Permian Resources, she worked closely with the technical and development teams to execute trades and acquisitions that enhanced the company’s position in core areas.
Taylor holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. A Certified Professional Landman, she has held multiple leadership roles within the American Association of Professional Landmen. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Permian Summit Foundation, a nonprofit supporting underserved communities in the Permian Basin.

Dallas Golden
Vice President, Operations
Dallas graduated Cum Laude from Lubbock Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering and later received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with minors in Petroleum Engineering and Mathematics, from Texas Tech University.
Proud to be the fourth generation of his family to work in the oil field, Dallas gained hands-on experience working as a roustabout, pumper, rig floor hand, and mechanic for his father and grandfather. In his leisure time, He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, is actively involved in ministry at Mid-Cities Church, and indulges in outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, and fishing.

Panos Dalamarinis
Subsurface Manager
Panos has successfully executed engineered completion designs and optimization studies in real-time for over 500 wells in multiple unconventional basins in the United States, Europe, Australia, and China. He is not only talented but also a great instructor of Hydraulic Fracturing and Production Engineering at the ENI Technical University & the Petroleum Engineering Department at the University of Houston.
Panos has published over 25 scientific papers in international journals and conferences, as well as a book on energy policy and geopolitics. He has received two European and one international award from the Society of Petroleum Engineers for his groundbreaking work. He has also been honored with two Texas Oil and Gas Awards (2016 & 2018) for his exceptional contribution to engineered completions for hydraulic fracturing operations.
Panos’s innovative approach and expertise have led to the award of four US patents in the area of hydraulic fracturing optimization for unconventional resources. Panos’s outstanding work and innovative solutions have earned him a well-deserved place on the list of 40 Under 40 of the Oil & Gas Industry in 2021.
Currently, as the Subsurface Manager at DG Petro Oil & Gas, Panos is leading the charge with his cutting-edge techniques and knowledge. He holds a Master of Science degree in mining engineering from the Technical University of Crete in Greece. Panos enjoys attending concerts, art museums, and the theater, as well as advancing his culinary skills. While he loves traveling abroad and exploring other countries, he is just as pleased with a day of fishing!
Panos Dalamarinis is an exceptional professional who has set new benchmarks in the Oil and Gas industry. His expertise and innovative ideas have been recognized globally and have contributed immensely to both the industry and DG Petro Oil & Gas.

Lance Vasicek
Senior Production Engineer
As Senior Production Engineer at DG Petro, Lance Vasicek oversees production operations across the Midland and Delaware Basins, applying his technical expertise to optimize efficiency and maximize asset performance. A Midland, Texas native and third-generation petroleum engineer, he brings extensive field and operational experience, particularly in production optimization and artificial lift methods.
Before joining DG Petro, Lance built a diverse career across private equity-backed firms and independent operations. He previously owned and operated an independent oil and gas company in the Permian Basin, where he focused on production enhancement and efficiency improvements. Prior to that, he worked at Permian Resources (formerly Centennial Resource Development), collaborating closely with development and land teams to execute acquisitions and improve field performance. His expertise in artificial lift systems and production surveillance contributed to increased operational efficiency and output.
Lance is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, serves on the board of the Petroleum Short Course, and is a proud member of Rotary Midland. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, where he gained hands-on experience in oil and gas operations throughout high school and college.
Outside of work, Lance enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their two sons. An avid traveler, hiker, and marathon runner, he embraces new challenges both professionally and personally.

Stephen Fusselman
Asset Manager
Stephen is passionate about coaching competitive shotgun shooting, hunting, and fishing, as well as participating in his kids’ hobbies. He is a dedicated family man with a wife, Rachel, and five children – Luke, Therese, Rose, Patrick, and Felicity.
Throughout his career, Stephen has achieved significant milestones, including implementing a SCADA system that reduced production downtime and electrical inefficiencies, establishing a new drilling methodology to decrease costs, and engineering solutions to eliminate costly failures in saltwater transfer systems. He has also successfully managed project divestitures and company closures, demonstrating his expertise in the field.
Stephen’s expertise, achievements, and dedication to his work make him a valuable asset in the field of asset management and process optimization.

Leslie Simmons
Controller
Beyond Leslie’s professional pursuits, she is an avid golfer and was honored to attain the status of a D-III All-American golfer during her time at college, achieving a national ranking of 8th place. Leslie eagerly anticipates sharing this passion with her children. In 2015, Leslie and her husband were married and have since been blessed with three active boys. The family’s leisure activities include attending concerts and engaging in family board games at home.
Leslie’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from LeTourneau University and a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. Leslie commenced her professional journey at an outsourcing firm, where she provided comprehensive accounting services to small and mid-sized upstream oil and gas companies. Over time, Leslie assumed progressively challenging roles, culminating in the management of financial reporting and AP/JIB teams. Leslie has had the privilege of participating as a panelist at two Whitley Penn Energy conferences.

Ed Ricci
Finance & Midstream Manager
With a career spanning 30 years, Ed has gained experience in esteemed organizations such as Arthur Andersen, EDS, Robert Half, and Energy Transfer, among others.
Outside of work, Ed places a strong emphasis on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Whether it’s playing soccer, sand volleyball, or going for a bike ride, staying active is paramount to his well-being. Ed is grateful to share his life with his wife, Robin, and their two remarkable daughters who are carving their paths in Denver and Los Angeles. In his professional endeavors, Ed is driven by a passion for process optimization. Collaborating with colleagues to streamline operations and drive efficiency is at the core of his work ethic.
